Everything was exceptionally great. Very cozy place and very clean. Surrounding environment was very nice. The “woodness” inside looks great. We were two people booking the “4-Bed Mixed Dormitory Room”, we get the whole room (with bathroom and shower) even it says “bunk bed” and “dormitory”, kitchen was shared though. I would definitely come back if I have the chance.

Enjoy to stay with Hide and his wife ! Very friendly and give me some train time details ! Both of them can communicate in English. They also provide the kitchen for cooking . They own the Thai restaurant on Friday & weekend . I love their stylish toilet and their cat is so cute. Thank you !

Lovely staff. Couldn't do enough to help. Fantastic food. Beautiful room with its own private onsen. Car parking outside. Easy walking distance (5 minutes) from the shrine & nightly Kagura performances. About a 20 minute walk to the Gorge & the row boat station. Meals were excellent, and the staffs were very courteous. The facility was beautiful, especially at night time with the landscape lighting on. I really like the big van that they used to transport us to see the Kagura.
