It was the perfect place for us - a family of 4 - 2 adults & 2 children. Shalacory is a modern, clean & comfortable apartment. The location of Riposto was great for traveling and visiting other nearby communities like Toaramino, Naxos Gairdini and Mount Etna. Marco’s parents met us and explained everything in the house…even though we know very little Italian we were able to understand. The house is very well provisioned. The kitchen was especially great and had everything for cooking full meals, great fridge, stove with oven, all the glass wear, pots and pans, coffee station, absolutely everything you would need. The beds were excellent. It was just two of us but this house would be comfortable for 4 people. The terrace was the very best part. Fantastic view of Etna, loungers for soaking up the sun and a huge table to enjoy meals or any outdoor time.

    Secure parking is free. Staff are delightful. Ten rooms on the first floor and two on the ground, so never crowded. Spotlessly clean. Food was great. If you want to see Etna then this is certainly a place to consider.
