the property is spacious and immaculately clean; many more facilities and appliances were provided than in most places (e.g. a milk-frother on top of a coffee machine and a kettle), plenty of usable surfaces, tasteful kitchenware, toiletries and a variety of breakfast food, a big fridge, washing machine and drier. It's very conveniently located - free parking is a 5 minute stroll through the beautiful town - and exceptionally quiet. There is only one source of light (on the front door/living room side, which gets plenty of light in the morning) but being spacious and not crammed by unnecessary furniture, even the bedroom on the opposite side of the property felt airy and comfortable. The lady who let us in was delightful and made us feel very welcome.

Our stay at the charming guest house in Tuscany was an absolute delight! From the breathtaking location surrounded by rolling hills and vineyards to the cozy and inviting ambiance of the house, we couldn't have asked for a better retreat. Wow wow wow. The property is AMAZING. In the Tuscan hills - 5km back from the road you have a huge farm house with a beautiful pool and even a little church. Absolutely stunning and great value for money. Very friendly owner and such cute doggies! And the breakfast was impressive

We loved everything about our stay at Relais Saint'Elena. The surroundings are incredibly beautiful, as are the gardens of the hotel. The breakfast was outstanding - the best we've ever had; everything was authentic and home-made, and the variety was huge. The breakfast room also has the most amazing "country-kitchen" feel and everything just makes you so happy. The restaurant serves exquisite dinners from a set menu using home-grown or local ingredients, customised daily by the chef. We extended our stay by an extra night because we couldn't imagine there was a better place to experience Tuscany than this - why go somewhere else when where you are is perfect!
