Lovely rustic property in a remote setting nestled in the Chianti hills. We only stayed for one night but had a great experience. A very relaxed check-in with a complimentary bottle of Chianti and can of Olive oil, all produced on the land. We are yet to try both, but judging by the food and wine we had for dinner, they will be quality. The food was fantastic, excellently prepared by the resident chef. Breakfast was simple but exceptional; when travelling with fussy children, it's a testament that they both loved the breakfast options. The scrambled eggs were particularly delicious. A point of improvement; It would be ideal to stock guest rooms with a bottle or bottles of water on arrival and top them up daily. If you are looking for an authentic experience of rural Tuscany, this is a perfect choice. No pretence, no pomp, just good quality food and wine, with warm welcoming Tuscan hospitality. Thank you Fattoria L'Ottavo, a stata piacevole.

Excellent place… quiet and pastoral… the owner is full of personal charm and gives personal attention to every guest. The breakfast is varied and tasty. The rooms are quiet and spacious with all the necessary equipment. Parking is available on-site. The place is close to the town and restaurants. Green and peaceful yard. We really enjoyed our stay.

An Amazing Stay in a Perfect Location We had a fantastic stay—the location couldn't have been better. From our balcony, we had a beautiful view of the square, where we spent relaxing evenings enjoying a glass of wine and the lively atmosphere below. Shara is an exceptional host; she welcomed us so warmly, and her communication before our arrival was both professional and genuinely kind. Everything about our stay felt thoughtful and personal. Highly recommended!

Location is great and postcard worthy. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. The room itself was clean, very big, comfortable and in traditional tuscany style (which we loved!). The gardens are lovely, with several places to sit down and relax. On our second day, we had a very private dinner in the garden, with a delicious 4-course meal. The pool was super clean. Overall, we really loved our stay!!

    We love the location of the property with a great outlook and well-maintained and furnished outdoor area. The property is in very close proximity to Chianti attractions. The property was very clean and comfortable for a group of six people. There is a washing machine at the property and secure parking on the side.

    Not obvious from the documentation where the property is. It is west of Dudda on the SP16. You actually go the the Castle winery reception at Castello Di Querceto and they show you round the location. Popular with Dutch families. Great pool. If you're going to Florence there's a free car park east side of station in Figline Valdarno and train is good value. Shops in Greve. They do winery tours.
