Everything. Since staying here we have talked of little else other than how enjoyable this stay was and about when we can come back. Lovingly restored historic buildings, that have been sympathetically decorated to make them feel both rustic and luxurious. The entire apartment was kept at a perfect temperature so we were comfortable throughout. We brought food with us to eat on the terrace with the most amazing view, and found every kitchen utensil needed. Even the plates and bowls were in keeping with the style of the accommodation. The apartment came with a smart speaker and a TV with Netflix for guests to use which was so cleverly formatted for each group of guests (English adults, English kids, German kids etc). The view is breathtaking, and while we sat outside we witnessed a large group of wild boars moving down the hill right next to the terrace which was like being on safari. The house is located within the nature reserve so for nature lovers (like us) this was ideal. Our 7yo son fell in love with Nero the cat and Rosa the little corgi which made the experience even more magical for him. The properties are run by the loveliest couple, who were happy to give us some information on the area and tell us some funny anecdotes of their experiences in Elba. They even tried to help us to find accommodation for the following nights as this property was sadly fully booked.

    Great location on a lovely beach, family run hotel with great staff and lots of returning customers. Parking on site, great rooms, not the best sea view but we did have a balcony. Delicious paninis for lunch, bar and sunny terrace

    Modern and stylish apartment with a stunning hill top view of the sea and mountains. Great location on foot and even better if you have a car as there is parking. Good self catering facilities including fridge and hob, lovely decking for eating and relaxing, spacious bathroom and shower. Laundry facilities near the car park if needed.

    Interesting location, close to Portoferraio and closer to Porto Azzuro. Very nice property, garden, fountain, pool looks nice and aprox. 10 minutes on foot to a good enough beach. Nice hosts, ample apartment with 2 courtyards/patios, one in front and one in the back, very clean. Ample parking lot. Overall a very good choice to relax and also access the island but obviously a car is mandatory for this one.
