The Garage is a farm style housing with very friendly staff. Our apartment was spacious, bright and clean. Kitchenette is a must in this location and is well equipped for 3 persons. The view is amazing in each direction. Plenty of attractions are within half hour drive. Hot bathtub under the sky is a nice add-on.

Everything was just perfect. The cottage is located in a beautiful scenery and it has everything you need. It’s small but very comfortable. The owner greeted us very warmly and we just loved their dogs, they are so cute😍 We would love to stay there longer but we already had next accomodations booked. We arrived a the most majestic, magical place we didn’t know existed. We loved arriving at the hotel and being greeted by a beautiful sheep dog who wanted to play with a smal stone and seemed really well trained. When we walked into the hotel, we were immediately greeted by friendly staff who took out bags and brought them to our room after showing us the way and introducing us to the hotel and it’s facilities. Staff were extended friendly. Additionally, there was a friendly white cat who became affectionate as we were sat outside cooling off from the sauna, who also greeted us at breakfast in the morning by sitting outside the window next to out table. We loved every single second. It felt like a real home rather than a hotel.

Everything. Hot tube, location-away from anybody, warm inside, equiped with all necessary items, good contact with host. Only 3h away from Glacier lagoon. Plenty of lovely places around. So Pleased !

This family-run hotel is located just off the Ring Road (Route 1), about a 40-minute drive from Vík. The surrounding nature is scenic, and in the morning, you can watch horses and cows "going to work" in the fields. We stayed in the apartment, which was clean and well-equipped with everything you need (refrigerator, microwave, kettle, stove). There were also some Nescafé instant coffee sachets provided for use with hot water. The bathroom was very spacious, with an excellent shower. Guests can use the hot tubs 24/7 (bathrobes are provided in the room) – and they are truly hot! Breakfast is served in the main building and offers plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's also a restaurant on-site, but we didn’t get a chance to try it.
