Very friendly hosts and very helpful. Airport transportation perfekt. Beautiful rooms, not only warm but hot (!) showers, comfy beds, very good and rich breakfast! Quiet at night. City center is in walking distance. Once we enjoyed dinner on site, which was delicious. We travelled individually without pre-booked tour, so we had to organize a lot on site. The host helped us brilliantly with this. We could not have imagined anything better. Many thanks again for the wonderful time and your help with our organization!

We had a great stay at Rock Castle. The rooms are huge and very comfortable, breakfast is delicious, drinking water is available 24/7. Stairs to go up to Tsemo Castle are really close and Leh market is at only 10min walking distance. Most of all, the owner Tsewang was of great help to plan our trip in Ladakh!

Everything in this hotel was great! We stayed in the low-season (mid-november), so the prices were very good, and the relation price-quality was great. The room was very clean, probably the cleanest i've seen in India during the whole month i stay there, very spacious and confortable. Great oversized bed, with plenty of blankets and clean sheets to keep you warm. Great bathroom with hot shower all the time. Coffe, tea and bottled water always available in the room with a boiling water machine. And, a BEAUTIFUL view and bacolny faced to the great Himalayas. Breakfast was included, and is awesome! Great food and with a lot of variety, not only "toast and butter" kind of breakfast :)

Adu's place, and his wonderful wife, really stands out among the guest houses in Lela. It is spacious, well maintained and clean. The staff is dedicated and willing to help. Some rooms have a balcony. A large garden overlooks a wonderful mountain view. What more can you ask for?

In October, I had the pleasure of staying at Raku Guest House and I cannot express enough how exceptional my experience was. From the moment I arrived, the warmth and hospitality extended by the family who runs the lodge were truly remarkable. The family welcomed me into their home with open arms, creating an atmosphere that felt more like visiting old friends rather than staying at a guest lodge. Their genuine care and attention to detail made my stay memorable and exceeded all expectations. One of the standout features was the delicious home-cooked breakfast prepared by the family. The organically-grown apples from their garden were delicious and that added a unique and delightful dimension to my stay. Beyond the comfortable accommodation and picturesque surroundings, what truly set this homestay apart was the family's willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guests felt like a part of their extended family. Whether it was offering local insights, organizing cultural experiences, or simply engaging in heartwarming conversations, their genuine enthusiasm for hosting made every moment special. For hiking enthusiasts, I embarked on the Markha Valley trek, and they arranged for a local guide while also offering transportation to and from the trailhead. We have NOTHING but good comments to say about this hotel. It was our favorite hotel in the country. The hotel is closed to all the main restaurants/activities in Leh. Rooms are very clean and smell good. The food at the restaurant is very good. But the best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are so kind, polite and helpful. They helped us preparing our trek and our day at the monasteries. The owner, Mr. Singh, was a real discovery for us - he is a mountainer so he helped us a lot to find the right trek for the time we had. He cares a lot abour his guests and has a very big heart. We really appreciated our discussions with him.
