The setting of the camp is spectacular, overlooking the Periyar River and it's forested bank on the opposite side. Plenty of amazing birds and even heard elephants in the evening. Suresh was a fantastic host, and was able to organise us a transfer from the airport as well as a tuk-tuk to the bird sanctuary the following day. The camp has bicycles and kayaks for guests to use (unfortunately we were out of season for the kayaks as the water level was too low) but had fun cycling around the surrounding areas. The tents were well kitted out and very comfortable.

Had visited multiple homestay at cochin locality... But this is amazing and fantasy.. I can say starting frm Welcome to last check-out... Awesome moments... This was a totally luxurious experience. The facilities were just beautiful - from the room and balcony in the main house to the stunning gardens to the swimming pool and restaurant down by the river. The food we were treated to was probably the best we had in our entire 3 weeks in Kerala. John, the manager and a super lovely and gracious man, looked after us in every respect. If you are looking for a break in a peaceful place, this is it. I thought it was superb value for money and would stay again in a heartbeat.
