This homestay is totally amazing! Good location, comfortable rooms. The host family is so kind, helpful and polite. They really care about their guests like we are the part of their family. The family that run its are unbelievable and so hospitable.. They have you organised from just helping books taxis or any sporting event (we kayaked and did a shikari boat), their is a traditional home cooled breakfast everyone morning you cannot help but look forward to, the family even took the time on our last day and AAT with us on common area discussing the life around the area!

Ameya Kerala is truly amazing! The property,built in 2018 to a high standard and with lovely fittings and decorations,is owned by a French couple and run by well trained and efficient Indian staff. Anish was particularly helpful in arranging future bookings and Mr Navraj was very knowledgeable about many things. English spoken was excellent. The kitchen girls were also most attentive. The grounds are beautifully maintained by the gardeners. The food at Ameya was extremely good. Delicious in fact! Beautiful views across the lake with much bird life greets one and one is struck by the peacefulness of it all. Walks or bike rides to the local market area are enjoyable and,of course, canoe rides on the lake can be arranged. All in all we found Ameya quite exceptional and one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We could find no fault with anything.

Beautiful property with a generous veranda to sit out and view the well taken care of lush garden. Rani's cooking is absolutely delicious and plentiful. It was very close to the beach and peaceful. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Large and clean room with a huge bathroom. Highly recommended! Thank you Rani and Babu. See you next time...
