Our stay at Zehava’s Zimmer in Ein Gedi was truly special. The location is peaceful and breathtaking—surrounded by desert cliffs, close to the nature reserve and with views of the Dead Sea. What really stood out to us was the creativity and charm of the space. The room is thoughtfully decorated with beautiful antique pieces and artistic touches that give it a warm, unique character. You can really feel the care and personal touch that went into creating this space—it’s not just accommodation, it’s an experience. Zehava and her history herself were incredibly welcoming and kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. The kitchenette was well equipped, and the outdoor area was perfect for relaxing in the quiet desert air. Kibbutz Hotel offers a great location, just a 25-minute drive from the Dead Sea. Free private parking is possible on site. Rooms at the Ein Gedi Kibbutz Hotel are set in the rich botanical gardens.

We booked a deluxe room requesting a view. We had a large king size bed, a comfortable sofa, a very large bathroom and a balcony facing the entrance to Wadi Arugot. It was really lovely to relax on the balcony in the AM and PM. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. There was a huge selection of fresh fruit, veggies, salads, short order cook for eggs, cooked dishes including shakshuka (!), cereals, breads, yogurts and more. We chose to eat dinner at Ein Gedi kibbutz rather than driving to Ein Bokek for a meal at the mall. There was again, a huge selection of foods to please the vegans, vegetarians and omnivores. The Ein Gedi Botanical garden is so diverse with many exotic trees and plants. We really did not have time to use the spa or the swimming pools. Ein Gedi Kibbutz is quite close to several trails for hiking.

Located in the Kana`im Valley, Kfar Hanokdim - Glamping & Camping is set in a Bedouin-style encampment village surrounded by palm trees.

The place is situated in an oasis outside the town of Arad. You get the desert experience, but without giving up the option of a supermarket or other comforts of civilization. cAmEls! If you like camels or one or more of your children like them, this is a great place for you o feed, pet and even ride them. You have an option of sleeping in a Bedouin tent, a hut or even a comfortable modern room. Some guests brought their own popup tents and set them inside the Bedouin tent, to get max privacy and protection from the elements. The oasis is about 20 minutes easy drive from Masada-west, where you can watch the audio-visual show after nightfall.

The guesthouse is very beautifully located inside Kibbutz Ein Gedi. It’s not big, but very nicely furnished and it had all we needed. It’s really something special, we felt at home immediately and wished we could have stayed much longer.

Breakfast was not included but there was a shop on the kibbutz so we bought food there. Location was wonderful, all we needed was there and we hope to return when the war slows down. Host was very kind and thoughtful.
