Carrig island lodge is in a stunning location with a gorgeous view of the castle, the house was absolutely immaculate and was fully equipped with anything you could of thought of like towels, shampoo etc.. as a family of 10 we all had loads of space in bedrooms and beds were so comfortable. Super friendly and dedicated host! The breakfast was so delicious and Aoife adopted it to my diet. The room and bathroom was clean and the B&B is very dog-friendly.

Such a lovely spot, nice quiet country home, just a few mins drive or an easy 20ish min walk to town. We had a lovely room overlooking a lush green paddock (with cow) to the ocean. Mary was lovely, delicious breakfast and she even gave us cake before we hit the road.

The bed was comfy, the room clean and quiet, the ensuite shower room with spacious and clean. The staff were welcoming and brought in a tea tray for us before breakfast which was delicious. A modernised good old fashioned bed and breakfast which are difficult to find.

Scenic estuary way home offers accommodation in Labasheeda, 41 km from Dromoland Castle. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.

A very warm welcome from the host’s sister who offered me a sandwich after a long journey. The house was superbly located with off road parking, a great view, the room was very quiet and comfortable with a lovely hot shower. Everything was very clean. Delicious self serve breakfast with a choice of things to eat. The host’s sister lives nearby so as a solo female traveller it was nice to know someone was on hand if needed. Also very relaxed around check out time. Really enjoyed my brief stay and it was a short onward trip to the Tarbert ferry
