Carrig island lodge is in a stunning location with a gorgeous view of the castle, the house was absolutely immaculate and was fully equipped with anything you could of thought of like towels, shampoo etc.. as a family of 10 we all had loads of space in bedrooms and beds were so comfortable. A cute little b&b in the centre of Kilrush. A great base for if heading on to Doonbeg like we were. The food here is just on another level. It was such a joy to sit and talk to the owners over breakfast and none of our requests were too much trouble for them. If ever back in Kilrush, we will be staying here for sure 😊
