Staff is amazing and will do their best to cater to any request. Location was good, not in the busiest part of town but still reachable (even on foot, ~30 minutes) and so nice and quiet. The facilities are very modern and trendy. Room is spacious and very comfortable. Breakfast is nice aswell, we preferred the clover café à la carte breakfast over the main breakfast as it was bit pricey.

Surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with what really matters. We even started our 2 AM hike to Mount Batur from here, and coming back to the stillness of the resort and the smiles of the staff was just what we needed. If you’re looking for a place with soul—honest, intimate, and full of Balinese charm—this is it. We’d come back a thousand times over. Huge thanks to all the legends we met at Rumah Kayu. the design of the property was beautiful it felt super connected to the nature surrounding it and incorporated it. the room was so comfortable and clean the bath with the view over the rice field was such a bonus and felt so luxurious. the staff were amazing specifically- satria, Mia, aris and sumer!! They couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating if they tried it truly elevated our experience! We did the cooking class while we were there and it was such a great experience we got to understand the local food and grow such an appreciation for the ingredients from the chefs clear passion - we laughed a lot and the food turned out great! They even provide a free shuttle into central Ubud which is such a nice touch and made it even more stress free :)

It was really nice hotel. The staff are amazing, all the time very attentive to the details:) they are not in very central location, but they have free shuttle who takes you to central ubud and brings you back when it’s needed. Breakfast were the best! Lots of choices :)

    This villa is located in a serene area surrounded with paddy terrace. The road is accessible via car and there’s parking lot beside the villa. Everything I need during my stay was available. Wayan and Desi always helpful and ready to assist anytime. Breakfast choice was great, and the pool too! Had a great stay to relax and unwind, and totally recommended this villa!

    Very nice hotel in the very center. Maybe not the most luxurious, but very cozy! The very friendly staff allowed us to leave our car in the hotel parking lot for free to walk around the Streets of Ubud for a couple of hours. They allowed the children to stay by the pool for a few hours after check out. It was very nice to have such a friendly attitude!
