Highly recommend staying here with Teldy and his family! Located in a beautiful small village amongst the hills and rice fields. Everyone was so welcoming! We got invited for coffee with one of the neighbours and had a lovely chat with Teldy in the morning over breakfast. Teldy’s wife Relyn also runs a great Homestay in Labuan Bajo! We got invited again for coffee when we got back to Labuan Bajo even though they were fully booked and we couldn’t stay there. Super welcoming local family!!

The accommodation highlight of my trip! I ended up staying a week, as these lovely people treated me like family. Nina and Faldi run a warm and friendly place with wonderful staff, food, a quiet location and so much to do in the area. They even cooked me a local Manggarai meal on my last night. For this price, a great hot shower, decent room, and breakfast included is better value than some more expensive places I've stayed in.Also, Febri is a very friendly and informative tour guide.Keep up the great work everyone 😊

The view from the patio of this homestay was breathtaking. The owners are so lovely and accommodating with wonderful ideas on things to see and do. The sunrise opportunities were bountiful in such a beautiful valley. Communication with the owner was excellent and he even arranged to meet me at a central location and organised a scooter if required and a rider to take me to the Hobbit Cave and onto my next accommodation. Shared dinner with the host and fellow guests was unique and delicious.

I had a truly pleasant stay at Natalia Homestay. The room was very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to rest after a long day. The owner was kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything I needed, which made me feel right at home. One of the great conveniences offered was motorbike rental, which made exploring the area much easier and more enjoyable. The location is also excellent close to many attractions, restaurants, and local shops, making it a perfect base for anyone visiting the area. Peter and his team are very nice, relaxed and easygoing! We really enjoyed staying for two nights. The breakfast and coffee is amazing. And we even had a tour to the spider rice fields just near the Guesthouse. We also rented a scooter from them. If youre staying around Ruteng, definitely stay at Peters :)

The hosts, Peronela and her family, are very friendly and hospitable. Everything was prepared just before your arrival. Hot water for your drinks etc. They ensure that all your needs are met. Good value considering the amount they charge for our stay. Would definitely stay there again if we ever return to Ruteng.

We had by far the best homestay experience ever! Fluffy, Theresia and Andrea were incredible hosts - it felt that we were treated as family more than guests. We shared great conversations and a very nice dinner with the family, and Fluffy was so kind to give up his time to show us around in Ruteng Pu’u.
