I had a truly wonderful time. The family is absolutely lovely, warm, kind, and always willing to help. The food was incredibly delicious and freshly prepared, using local ingredients, every meal felt nourishing and made with love. The location is a bit remote, but still within reasonable distance from the beach and local shops. If you're looking to immerse yourself in a peaceful, rural lifestyle and connect with the local community, this is the perfect place. It's not about luxury or modern comforts, so if you're expecting hot showers and hotel-style amenities, it may not be for you. But if you're open to something different and authentic, you’ll love it here. Overall, an unforgettable experience that gave me a genuine taste of local farming life. Probably the best location in our trip. Stunning views in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful rice fields with great views on the volcano. We stayed at the elevated hut and the bed was good, all clean. Ambience in place was great, really loved the music :) staff was very attentive. So many things to visit around the area.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The surroundings were so peaceful and beautiful, with relaxing nature and a lovely riverside view. The host family was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home and treating us like part of their own family. We had booked for 2 nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay by another day. Highly, highly recommend this place — we would definitely love to visit again!

The building is a marvellous traditional wooden building. The staff are wonderful. Beds huge and super comfortable. They have a gymnasium! They have lovely garden and great rice paddy views. The food was traditional Indonesian food and was excellent. Air con was great. Rooms are huge. The place is a real hidden little gem.

We had a truly incredible three days at the villa and with Abdi, who was there for us throughout our stay. Staff were really friendly and welcoming they made sure I had everything I need for my stay. The owner also gave me opportunities to meet his friends and family and also to teach at a local school which was a great experience. I would highly recommend muni’s bungalows( one in masbagik or lendang belo) for both family and solo travellers. His English was very good which made the stay even more nice, he offered me tea and coffee everytime I saw him, which went well with his delicious breakfast.
