Outstanding location on a beautiful island, lovely hosts, delicious breakfasts. It is my second visit, my friend said she would like to live here. For anyone who enjoys nature and birds - including pelicans, nightingales and hoopoes - it is hard to imagine a more perfect spot. The fish prepared in the restaurant opposite was wonderful. This hotel fully reflects the unique atmosphere in this mountain hamlet in arguably one of the most remote parts of Northern Greece, a mere stonesthrow away from the border with Albania. The beds have beautifully hard mattresses. Loved the room and the house and the village. They have lots of character and look well used. Might not be for everyone, but the lush garden, insects, frogs, birds, cats, dogs, cows, the lake was heaven to me. The breakfast was abundant and tasty. The host is very friendly and welcoming. I hope to visit again.
