The owner is very friendly and helpful. We took a wrong way and were stuck in the small rough village road and got lost. The owner showed up and drived us to his guest house. Actually the house is at the upper side of the village and the drive way is much better and easy to go. The day after, my friend had a leg bone broken, again the owner came to meet us at the glacier and arranged the ambulance and rescuers. He's so genuine and did everything for us. We are deeply moved by his kind support. BTW, the house is neat with a kitchen, the food his mother made is great. Its location is a plus, just a few metres away from the church where you'll have a great view of the sunset. We definitely will choose to stay here again.

Our stay was very special here so we spent an extra night in Ushguli! The location is perfect, the vegan dinner and breakfast was tasty and very creative. Rooms and common spaces are feels like home but the biggest benefit is the host lady! She is very a kind person with huge heart. We had nice talks and I felt real and deep connection between us! Beautiful location and you can park 10m away without having to go down a skinny cobbled street. The owner is helpful, and there is a cash minibar full of reasonably priced and super chilled beers, wines, cokes, and waters, which is great after walking up the cobbled valley. Even though it is a wet bathroom, it was the best shower of the trip so far.

The house was very clean, with super welcoming and helpful owners and plenty of delicious food. The area was peaceful, a friendly horse was standing by our window when we woke up. The daughter of the owners was especially accomodating, as she showed us around. Thank you for having us!

It's a unique location if you're hiking from Mestia to Ushguli. It allows you to shorten your hike if you want to make it through Lagem Pass on day 4. It's a century-old traditional house, and the rooms are quite small. It can be noisy at night because of the other guests. Don't expect it to be similar to a big hotel. The host is super friendly. Local dinners and breakfasts are nourishing.
