Beautiful hotel structured on terraces (as the name says), with beautiful small gardens and gazebo to enjoy the good season. We've been greeted with kindness and we received a free room upgrade, very appreciated! The room was big, very clean and comfortable, we greatly enjoyed it.

Perfectly located and very cozy, literally 2 steps away from the Rabati castle. We ate at their family restaurant and the food and breakfast were really good and affordable. Big and clean room and bathroom. The whole family are great hosts, Zurab is a wonderful musician who granted us a private morning concerto.

Everything was perfect! The sweetest hosts! They even gave us a bottle of wine when we arrived. The room was very comfortable and everything was clean! They made sure our stay was the best. The breakfast is also amazing!!

We stayed just one night at Golden Gate Hotel, but it was truly unforgettable! 🌟 The host was absolutely outstanding – so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely lovely, making us feel at home from the very first moment. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a warm atmosphere and thoughtful details everywhere. Our room was super comfortable, spotless, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Even though it was a short visit, the hospitality and comfort made a big impression. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Akhaltsikhe – it’s a real gem and we’ll definitely return when we come back!

Nice view from the upper floor. Clean and new rooms. The rooms are in the backyard so you hear less from the street which is also quite calm. Nice breakfast in the garden. It's just a bit past the fortress and a perfect place to stay.

Old Street and Mari the host, is a great place to stay and explore Akhaltsikhe and all the sights nearby. We had a super comfortable and spacious room, ate an amazing breakfast in the garden, and really appreciated the help from Mari in arranging transport for us to see Vardzia and other castles along the way, as well as to our next city of Kutaisi. She is a great help, very professional, speaks perfect english and is just super nice :) The guesthouse is located right underneath the fortress, with many restaurants nearby. We highly recommend coming here to spend a couple of nights, to really appreciate this lovely little city and the many exiting places nearby.
