A wonderful place with wonderful hosts. The location and the building are certainly something special. The bed was comfortable with lovely sheets, and in the morning you eat in the big farm style kitchen with Susan cooking up a fantastic breakfast next to you. Unfortunately we arrived late and could not enjoy the evening meal, but I will certainly aim for it next time.

This is an exceptionally comfortable, spacious and welcoming property. It is warm and well-furnished. Fixtures and fittings all of a high standard and work well. Great views across the surrounding farmland and then into the hills, and big windows to enjoy them! Helpful host met me with complimentary milk and cakes. Well-organised, explanatory notes around the place. Good wifi, certainly for such a remote location. Good shower, excellent bed. A bunch of acrobatic pied wagtails cavort around the cottage. The geographical 'centre of Scotland' is a couple of miles along the Glen Truim road towards Newtonmore, marked by a big cairn and signage.

A truly comfortable hotel with great attention to detail — everything from the room design to the cleanliness was impeccable. The bed was extremely cozy, and the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. The Old School Hostel was clean, comfortable and well equipped. As reflects its type, it was fairly basic, but I found everything I needed in the circumstances. Parking was easy, but had I chosen to arrive by rail, the station was just a few yards away.
