Excellent room and comfortable beds. Delightful gardens. Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff. Excellent and good value dinner at the restaurant. Lovely pool of good size and well suited for young kids.

The location was fantastic in a beautiful French village, the hosts Gavin and Jacqueline were amazing - you accommodation fantastic and the breakfast outstanding. If you are in this area, stay here you will not regret it.

The information and communication we received from Roch was excellent. He sent us lots of really useful guidance regarding the local area before our stay and always responded to our queries in a friendly and timely way. Property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. It is a compact property however there is some very clever use of space. The air conditioning was very welcome and needed, as we had very high temperatures during our stay. The outside space was fantastic with areas to eat or just sit and relax. There is a lovely garden area around the property attracting lots of birds and insects including bees and butterflies. A Thoughtfully placed gazebo meant we could sit and watch the sun go down and enjoy the views across the surrounding farmland. We especially loved the hammock !!! The location was idyllic. It felt rural whilst still being within easy reach of Chinon, attractions, supermarkets, restaurants etc.

We were warmly welcomed by Patrick and shown around the property. The house is beautiful and authentic of its period. There is a wonderful sense of calm and serenity here, and it has the added bonus of having two gorgeous dogs, who were so friendly. The facilities here are great, a fabulous swimming pool overlooking the vegetable garden and lovely walks around the grounds. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh with very good coffee. We had the pleasure of sharing our breakfast experience with fellow guests who were very nice and inclusive. This was a most relaxing stay, and I would love to return here in the future and stay longer next time.

Everything was simply excellent. The hosts Isabelle and Antoine are fantastic. Warm welcome and may advices. The rooms are huge and the furniture and decorations are completely in style with the superbly renovated Chateau. Great touristic possibilities in the region. The breakfast is lavish and delicious.

I love this hotel. We had such a wonderful stay here. Amazing staff- so helpful, help with wine tasting, boat cruise. Anything we wanted or need the staff would fulfill. The restaurant is excellent plus you have a beautiful view of the Chateau! The town is so lovely- I want to move there! Parking is a plus!

    This was my second visit to Domaine de Roiffé. I travel by car and one of the best things is I do not need to worry about parking. The estate is lovely and quiet, restaurant is great and there is plenty to do there if you're an outdoorsy person.
