Everything about this hotel shouted careful, thoughtful, considered planning and operation. The room we occupied was spacious and well furnished and only moments away from the breakfast/dining room, swimming pool and outside lounging area. The breakfast was quite unlike any other hotel breakfast I have ever had, in as much it was treated like a special occasion and served like an intimate three course meal - it was superb. We had not planned to have dinner, but were persuaded by the proprietor and were delighted by the experience - don't miss having at least one dinner at the hotel - all beautifully prepared and served. The centre of Cordoba is about 15 minutes stroll but beware, the small lanes and alleyways of this old city are confusing until you get your bearings - take a map or use your phone GPS to find your way around. The hotel is situated in a small, quiet dead end lane and has a charming garden entrance when you do find your way home.

From the moment I arrived with my friends, we were warmly greeted by the reception. The hotel is spotless, the staff are incredibly attentive, and the bar staff are very knowledgeable about the wines on offer. The breakfast is excellent. I cannot praise this hotel enough and would highly recommend it. The location is near the station and within walking distance to the Jewish Quarter. The staff are a credit to the hotel. I will definitely revisit .
