The staff were extremely friendly and kind to us. We felt welcome and happy there. The room was clean and had a nice view. I did enjoy my time there a lot. The breakfast was sufficient.

Funky place run by a very friendly and welcoming family. Pool and jacuzzi is a nice touch. Secure gated parking for our motorcycles. Decent breakfast. Within walking distance of the downtown area.

Chimborazo Lodge twins a remote and otherworldly location with absolute luxury inside - roaring fires, huge panes of glass to make the most of the views, extremely friendly staff and excellent food. The lodge and all the surrounding buildings are full of climbing memorabilia, hunting trophies and old photos of mountain climbers that give the place an aura of adventure. While we weren't undertaking a climb of Chimborazo - the views were enough for us - many of the other guests seemed to be. Oh, and the Lodge is surrounded by alpacas, and hummingbirds are everywhere!
