Horseback ride was spectacular, we even saw monkeys at the river! Cement water slide will be very fun for kids, I tried it twice and it is actually a bit scary it goes so fast. The super cool hosts Rolando and Jorge are fluent in English and very warm and hospitable. They have big plans for the place.

I really loved this place. It is surrounded by nature, and you can hear birds singing and other animal sounds day and night. It is run by kind and helpful people, and there are two friendly dogs and a parrot in the house. I enjoyed an excellent vegan breakfast every morning. I recommend this bed&breakfast for those who are seeking counterbalance to the city life.

I loved everything about this place. The staff, the food at the restaurant, everything. Great location for all the possible activities in the area. The volcano national park, thermal pools and waterfalls are all just a few minutes by car. Very nice restaurant and good breakfast.

On a family farm this was a lovely cabin. Spacious room with a good sized comfortable bed and nice bathroom. They have a lovely decking area at the front to watch the birds. There is no noise at night. The family made us very welcome. The cabin is on the road to the national park and very close to La Leona waterfall, a very popular tourist attraction. It is ideal for visits to both, but especially the National park, Rincon de La Vieja .

The house Is not in the city center and this Is a big plus: only 15min diving far from the Parco Rincon de la Vieja. The whole structure Is new, and staff takes care of It every day. The room Is nice with great air conditioning which helps at night, even if we spent the whole evening on the pool. Our stay was an exceptional experience. Roger and Rose were super kind and helpful giving ideas for places to visit, where to eat etc. One of the highlights was the breakfast, every day with fresh fruit juice and varied costarican food. Malekus is located in a stunning location surrounded by nature at its best. Definitively highly recommendable!!
