Not only is it located on a hilltop with a breathtaking view, the accomodation designs are fantastic, service is very accomodating, and El Sol, as an ecolodge, is very interesting to visit. You may pay a bit more to stay here but that is because you receive a stay that is more memorable than most places.

Breakfast was provided and was excellent. The options were hearty with fresh fruit and fresh juice with coffee. The host family is lovely and accommodating for early morning tours. They have a beautiful farm and the Cabanas are very nice.

The villa is located in the countryside and so every moment is filled with fresh air, butterflies and bird song. Sitting in the hot tub looking across the cloud-filled hills is a treat not to be missed. The villa itself was spacious, immaculately clean and had everything you need, thoughtfully provided by the owners, including a dehumidifier, Netflix, a kettle etc. The attractions of Santa Elena and Monteverde are close by and are easily accessible. Communication with the owners was excellent - friendly and helpful throughout. This is a wonderful villa and we highly recommend it.

Sergio was an amazing host, always helpful and caring! Prepared great homestyle breakfast for us both days and kept us refreshed with coffee / tea / hot chocolate throughout our stay! Carlos carlos carlos...he is as amazing host as the place! We love them all the same.. and also his wife Elena. If you don't stay here you're missing out on life! We didn't want to leave this place. Oh by the way the food was also lovely. He knows what is spicy what you ask him what is spicy! Don't go without the argentina pizza and cas juice! One of our best accommodation out of 100s of countries! Pura Vida!

Absolutely fantastic. The sunset views in a hot tub with sparkling wine and the sounds of birds - memories will last forever. The bed and pillows are extremely comfortable. Showers amazing with nature around. Appreciated the breakfast set. Very glad we chose this place to start our holidays. Well done and kudos to the owners!
