Wonderful hosts and exceptional breakfast. Julien and Marian always available and helpful with local knowledge and advice. Arranged guided kayak and jungle trip which were brilliant. Passion Fruit Lodge is a tranquil oasis removed from the bustle of the surrounding beach towns. We loved the beautiful landscaping, abundant fruit trees and flowers at every turn down the garden paths. The pool was relaxing and beautiful and there are many hammocks and quiet spots to relax. We did not use the bar area but had a delicious breakfast by our hosts, Bert and Delphine. Rooms felt like we were staying in a tree house. Beds were comfortable and kitchen facilities were basic but just right. Lovely to wake to the sounds of birds and monkeys. We did not want to leave!

It was a great place to relax for one night as I passed through the area. The tub on the patio was amazing with candles. I loved the how the shower had two shower heads so two people can shower at the same time. The breakfast was amazing, delicious and so much food. I didn't leave the property so I don't know anything about the location. The service was genuine, warm, and welcoming.

Cahuita Inn is an oasis on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Exceptional value for money, standing out head and shoulders above anything else we found in Costa Rica in this mid range price bracket. Contemporary comfort, style, security, wonderful service, delicious food, calm atmosphere, beautiful hammock strewn palm grove right on the ocean, with waves rolling in on your doorstep. It was stunning and so relaxing. If you are lucky enough to find a room, just book it! We did and extended our stay twice. Thank you so much Giuseppe, Elisa and your loyal, excellent staff team.

The location, in a peaceful garden close to Play Negra was fantastic. The array of birds and wildlife in a relatively small area was staggering. There are just a few apartments spread out amongst the grounds yet we saw over twenty species of birds in a couple of hours including toucans, hummingbirds and Montezuma oropendula. We also saw a mother and baby sloth in the tree above our room, howler monkeys, agouti and frogs! It's an easy walk to the national park and there's lots of restaurants within walking distance. The food truck close by was particularly tasty. There's also a large new looking supermarket nearby. The accommodation itself was great value for money. Having the outside sitting area meant we could still enjoy the wildlife when it was raining. We had a kettle, coffee maker and a small fridge as well as basic eating utensils, so it was perfect for preparing simple cold meals. The accommodation was very clean and smelt fresh which can be hard to maintain in the humid environment. The provision of a hammock and drying rack was appreciated. We also noticed they were doing some little renovations and taking steps to keep the place nice. Communication was warm and easy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. Overall Cahuita was fantastic.

best hotel we had on our trip. the breakfast bread was awesome. you can get beers from a freige for 1500 colones. the rooms are just perfect. sone animals in the garden frogs, birds… not far from the city and not far from the beach. we could leave our car for 4 days in the parking lot because we where going to bocas del toro. afterwards we haf a stay for 2 nights again.

The hotel was quiet had a small swimming pool and a parking lot located 150 meters Infront of the hotel! The room had 2 balconies and access doors! One on the swimming pool side and another on on the ocean front!
