I highly recommend this accommodation! We stayed here for one night before our flight home, and it was absolutely perfect. Everything was impeccably clean, comfortable, and cozy. The host family went above and beyond – they were incredibly kind and helpful. They even offered us a ride to the airport. The Nirvana Hostal was the perfect oasis for me before my departure and Kenneth was a super friendly host. He also offered me the chance to stay for the day as my flight wasn't until the evening. So I was able to rest and relax. I had dinner nearby in the evening and breakfast at a soda. Both on Kenneth's good recommendation. The apartment also had its own small kitchen with coffee and tea included. I have already made a reservation, will be back and am happy to recommend Nirvana Apartement to others.

The location of the hotel was excellent, being relatively close to San Jose and the airport, but also a good base to tour from. The rooms were elevated with spectacular views over forest, and we had breakfast on the balcony accompanied by humming birds in the adjacent bushes. The hotel grounds included a short trail, which was also stunning. The family that owned the hotel were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They organised a driver for us to undertake specific tours and helped us with a number of other matters during our stay.

This place was amazing. The workers were very friendly and attentive, and the resort itself is beautiful. They also do an amazing job with the landscaping, so you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle. The food was great and we loved the coffee hour and banana bread! We also did the coffee farm tour, which was amazing! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and talked a lot about their sustainable farming practices.

We were absolutely amazed by this property, which has a spirit of the old times, large rooms with large windows, tastefully decorated with period furniture, but all very comfortable, shining and spotlessly clean. The hosts very welcoming, nice, even knew where the Czech Republic is and that it used to be part of Czechoslovakia!!! Bravo!!! The place is coveniently located for trips to Volcán Poás and beautiful La Paz Waterfull Gardens. We simply loved it.
