Exceptional hospitality from the hosts who laid out a spread of byrek, cheese, fresh bread, and milk/yoghurt to greet us. Superbly equipped, spacious, and comfortable apartment in a stunning rural setting with a terrific cafe/shop/restaurant two minutes walk away. The village is set among mountains and ravines and is a welcome escape from the heat and the crowds on the coast. Reminded us of the hospitality we received when we first visited Albania in 1994.

The location is amazing, really remote in between the mountains. Very serene. The last 5km is easy reachable by 4x4 or by skilled normal car drivers ;) The host and staff where extremely friendly and super flexible. There was free and smooth wifi even though it is very remote. Food and breakfast was great, lovely local dishes ! They prepared some lunch on request.

This is a very new hotel which is still in the process of being finished. it was in a convenient location for us as we were cycling through the mountains and needed a place to stop. The room was really comfortable and clean and we particularly loved the bathroom. The windows were really sound proofed. The staff were very polite and helpful, particularly the young woman who was working when we visited - she made a lot of effort to communicate with us as we don’t speak Albanian.

The hospitality was just perfect!! There was an extra touch from the hosts that we haven't seen anywhere else in Albania!!! The dinner was the best experience we had whilst in Albania, so super recommend to stay there and have dinner in their premises! Also the view to the sea is fantastic to have your breakfast next morning!

We had a wonderful stay at Ferdinand Residence! The room was spotless, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. All the furniture and amenities were brand new, which made the stay even more comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was good, fresh, and varied. Delicious coffee included with breakfast (it's normal to pay for coffee from the bar if you want to), and warm pastries really made the mornings feel special. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to restaurants, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and quiet at night.

Boasting a garden and views of sea, Zacharias apartments is a recently renovated apartment situated in Himare, 600 metres from Livadhi Beach.

The host and the staff welcomed us very warmly with self-made limoncello. The hotel is located just a 5 minute walk away from the beach. The host gave us a free parking space on his property. In the evening when we arrived, we had a really good time at a beach restaurant/bar. The next day before check out we had a rich and good breakfast on our private balkony. How nice! After check out we were allowed to park our car on the street in front of the hotel, so we could enjoy the beach easily. The beach and the water is wonderful! If you want to have a chilled beach experience choose Himare, not Ksamil!

The Best Stay We’ve Had in 4 Years of Travel De Sol was, without a doubt, the most incredible accommodation we’ve experienced in all our travels. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home thanks to the warm and genuinely kind welcome from the owners. Their hospitality was above and beyond — we honestly didn’t want to leave! The room was spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed, complete with a luxurious shower and even a bidet. Every detail was perfect. We were treated to fresh fruit and homemade jam straight from their garden, and the espresso served at breakfast was hands-down the best we had in all of Albania. Fast WiFi, cozy games and puzzles, private parking — they thought of everything. We were constantly checked on to make sure we had everything we needed, and always felt cared for. If we ever return to the area, we wouldn’t dream of booking anywhere else. This is a 12/10 stay — the best place we’ve stayed in our 4 years of traveling across countless countries. Just book it. You’re in good hands.
