The private onsen was very nice. Hotel had good facilities like foot spa with a great view of Mt Aso. Dinner and breakfast was great and staff were friendly and able to speak english.

The staff were super accommodating and friendly. The Onsen were amazing and many to chose from. If you arrive by bus it’s good to contact for a pick up as it’s a bit of a distance from kurokawa village.

Top notch facilities and service, staff go out of the way to make the stay pleasant. Very nice view of mountain from my room and also the public onsen. I also left my phone behind at the property and the staff helped to express courier it to my next destination. Very impressed by their service level.

Not a huge room, but big for japanese hotel standards. Could stream on the tv which was great! The breakfast had loads of options and the parking is right across the hotel. The hotel is located near Kumamoto Castle and next to Sakura Machi Mall. Walking distances to loads of amazing restaurants. The sweet potato Ikinark Dango was so good at this hotel 🥰 fancy a late night snack? As long as there's broth, they serve late night noodles! The onsen they have on the top floor is inaccessible if you have tattoos. But it looked good and clean. After you can enjoy ice cream or yakult on the house. Or if you pass by you can grab one, the hersey bar ice cream was good.
