The staff were so nice and friendly, and the amenities were everything you could possibly need and more. The onsens were beautiful, immaculate and clean - and the hotel breakfast was definitely one of the best meals I’ve ever had! The late night soba hit the spot and the snacks were endless (popsicles, yakult, drinks in the lobby machine). Also loved the super comfortable yukatas and pjs that the hotel provided. It’s easily walkable distance from a JR station (just one stop away from Kyoto station), and there are multiple bus stops within a 5-10 minute walk that can take you all over Kyoto. It’s across the street from a 7-11, and right next to one of the prettiest parks!

Attractively situated in the centre of Kyoto, Onyado Nono Kyoto Shichijo Natural Hot Spring features buffet breakfast and free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring a restaurant, the property also has a spa and wellness centre, as well as a sauna and a hot spring bath. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage space and currency exchange for guests. I had the most wonderful experience staying in this hotel. It really made Kyoto the best city I visited in my trip to Japan. I had my doubts seeing it very popular on tiktok, but I was indeed impressed. It was my first experience going to onsen. I was so nervous with the naked part, but once there I totally relaxed. Don't skip it! You have 5 hot spring pools, with clear water and free ice cream once you leave. Read the instructions, take a shower, put on the pijamas they provide, take your basket and towels, and go enjoy the onsen. The hotel is in japandi style, with tatami floors everywhere, so you take off your shoes at the entrance and you use only your bare feet or socks in all the areas. Was so strange to go at breakfast in pijamas and socks :)), but I loved it. The room was big, clean, with space to put your things. I slept so well on the bed. They serve coffee, tea and matcha latte all day long, and that matcha was so tasty and creamy I miss it every day (it's been 3 months). And the breakfast had a lot of variety but was crowded. You can leave your luggage with them if you arrive early, as early check in is not possible.

The hotel is very good located, only one station away from Universal Studios Japan! Very clean, very good and comfortable beds and pillows! They were excellent! We slept so well! The shower is big and top modern! The staff is friendly!

The location is great: just next to the station and at walking distance to the sightseeing sites. The breakfast is wonderful. The only drawback was the waiting one morning for getting access to the breakfast room.

There are 2 indoor hot springs baths and an open-air bath at the property. Amazing. Loved it. Onsens fabulous!

Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Guests can wear colourful yukata robes at the property. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the private onsen. If we could rate this property 100 stars, we would. It was such a great experience.

The 20 rooms at Arima Onsen Tosen Goshobo include tatami (woven-straw) floors and shoji paper screens. Guests can relax at the seating area and enjoy the zen atmosphere with a cup of green tea. Bathing facilities are shared. Incredible room, lovely onsen also, a wonderful stay.

3.3 km from Kinumaki Shrine in Toyooka, Migumiya Ryokan offers accommodation with access to a hot spring bath. It is located 4.7 km from Seto Shrine and features free shuttle service. The ryokan provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. It was very close to what we wanted to see and experience. The host was amazing and so helpful!
