Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. The greatest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The location is perfect- it's near the bus stop and pretty close to Open-Air Museum. I also loved the onsen, both of them were clean and nice. The common area is cool and everything you need is there. I absolutely recommend it!

Hot spring inside. Enough space in bunk bed and gorgeously large room as a dormitory style one. Breakfast was a biiiig surprise, too good to be true surprise. Hot spring inside. Everything is clean and comfortable. You can leave your luggage before checkin and after checkout. And they take good care of the luggages.

Rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The view is great. A very pleasant stay, would recommend this hotel to everyone. Breakfast was the best buffet we had in our whole trip. French toast are the best we’ve ever had! Bus stop to go around the area is right at the entrance to the hotel.

Easily the most positive surprise during my trip as I booked the last available bed quite late. Very good bed(double in the dorm room), comfortable with quite a lot of storage space and your own window! They change towels daily as well which was a big plus. Toilets outside of the room which is always great, the onsen was such an amazing thing to have right in the hostel after a day of hiking, it’s small but can fit about 8 people and is a very relaxing experience. The staff were very nice and helpful with good tips for hiking and food in the area. The common areas! They were truly amazing with nice decor and good facilities, the kitchen well-stocked and two guest fridges. The main living room is spacious with plenty of seating and various board games to be played and a terrace! Overall it was an amazing stay and I didn’t not expect to meet such great people. The walk to the hostel from the station is not that bad! Just a steep incline for about 5 minutes other than that pretty easy if you just have a backpack.

She was very professional, friendly and took the time to explain each dishes to us at dinner and breakfast. The same can be said of all the staff. The Kaseiki dinner and breakfast were exceptional, especially the quality of the sashimi. We stayed 2 nights and the menus are different on both days. Our traditional room is very clean, on the 5th floor with view of trees and river below. The outdoor onsen was small but very clean, with the same beautiful trees and river views. I was pretty much the only peson at the outdoor onsen in the evening, so quiet and relaxing with sound of the river . We also booked the private onsens for 2 days and they were also clean with modern aesthetic vibes.
