Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Staffs are nice and friendly; no problem with English communication. Our room was good with a private onsen in the room. In addition, this hotel has three private onsens (free use) 24 hrs. Free tea and coffee. 10 mins walking distance from the main bus station. This hotel has a shuttle bus, between the bus station and the hotel.

Boasting hot spring baths in a spectacular outdoor setting by Takaragawa River, Japanese-style hotel Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku is a 10-minute drive from Hodaigi Ski Resort. Onsen from a fairly tale. 3 baths outside surrounded by nature and a running river. Honestly felt like a dream. On top of that we stayed in a traditional Japanese room and to top it off the food quality was phenomenal. Of course the staff was amazing as well :) could not recommend more!

BUNA KUSATSU Onsen Inn se nachází v destinaci Kusacu. Opičí park Džigokudani je 47 km daleko a Mt. Kusatsu Shirane 15 km. Location, staff, kitchen/common area and the private onsen. Parking lot was plenty. The hostess let us check-in early even though we arrived relatively early. The rooms were traditional style with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Minakami Onsen Aratashi Minakami se nachází v destinaci Minakami a nabízí ubytování se soukromými balkony. The room is very spacious, the facilities are brand new and clean, and the soundproofing is excellent. The private bath outside the room is fantastic; it was snowing on the day of my stay, making the snow bath very enjoyable. The staff is incredibly friendly to foreigners, providing a welcoming atmosphere. Although I don't know the name of the staff on that day, the service was excellent.

This guesthouse is hidden gem during our 2 night stay at Kusatsu onsen with only 7-8 rooms & the environment is very cozy. The guesthouse was newly renovated & everything like new. We booked 4pax stay & the rooms condition is excellent. The staff service is good. We love it very much the onsen facility on this guesthouse. Breakfast provided were excellent. Nevertheless, this guesthouse is highly recommend during your visit to Kusatsu Onsen.

Really lovely place, rooms have plenty of space, neutral decor, great use of the square meters and giant windows to enjoy nature at your doorstep. Hotel facilities are easy to access, clean and have all amenities you might need. Staff is extremely helpful and their English level is great, which makes a big difference when asking for recommendations or suggestions or quite simply have a conversation upon arrival. Also made use of the massage service in the room, very professional and great massage overall. The system is set up easily so you can enjoy this in your privacy and comfort.

Chigira Jinsentei se nachází v destinaci Shibukawa a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a barem. Muzeum železnice Usui Pass je 46 km daleko. The food was really good, the onsen was excellent and no complaints about the location!

Minakamisansou se nachází v destinaci Minakami a poskytuje ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm. Lyžařský rezort Gala Yuzawa je 36 km daleko. We had a lovely view of the mountains. The private onsen was very nice, but the public onsen is very good as well! The staff is very nice and always accomodating. If you like traditional Japanese food, you'll love what they serve during the evening and morning. I recommend to stay at this ryokan either during fall (momiji) or winter. We were a bit too early for the heavy snowfalls, but still managed to catch some snow the second evening. Even without the snow it was lovely. I can imagine it looks amazing with the fall colors!

The real Japanese design for overall accommodation are excellent. The service of the three people ( may be the owner) are very warm and kindness.

It is even bigger than it looks in the pictures - large comfortable beds - delicious dinner and breakfast served in a private dining room - lots of activities to do - night light show at the "Spirited Away" bridge, massage chair, pantry/ lounge, and If the private onsen in your room is not enough for you, you can explore the various shared onsen. - nice items at the souvenir shop - friendly and accommodating staff - great location - it is just a minute walk to and from the bus that takes you to the train station, likewise it is walking distance to many cafes and to Asunaro which serves chicken tonkatsu that your grandparents will serve to their favourite grandchild.:)
