It's very clean and comfortable. The outdoor onsen is nice. The indoor ones we didn't try (we only stayed one night). The beds are real mattresses. Breakfast is generous and in Kaiseki-style. This was also lovely and spacious. The dinner was delicious and exceeded expectations. Staff were helpful and provided breakfast for us half an hour earlier than their normal service. The property is straightforward to get to via a direct bus from Takayama. Getting to Kamikochi the next morning also took less than an hour via bus.Guest review byMichaelYoung couple

If you have tattoos you can just queue up and use one of the three private hot springs. If you go at certain times of the day, there is no one so you can enjoy all the three of them easily.
