Great location. Shuttle service with designated phone at train station. Pick your dinner if you stay multiple nights. Multiple dinner rooms where you can enjoy up to 8 different styles of food. Onsen of course was great. Staff was exceptional.

The view of the garden with two sakura trees, the terrace, the foot bath, the spacious and comfortable private bathroom, the room’s design, the incredibly delicious meals and the fact that there was a private dining room, the magnificent breakfast, the kind and cheerful staff, the cosmetic products in the room, the free minibar and its amazing variety… In short, everything was perfect. The view of the lake is amazing. The JR Otsu station was also close by, it can be walked or the shuttle bus to and from the hotel and station.

So romantic I wish we could have stayed forever!!! The en-suite private onsen is on the balcony of the room and also the shower so super shy people might have a problem. Everything was perfect tho, it is a precious memory from our trip.

everything was perfect,how they welcome you and explain the facilities,everyone was very kind and accomodating (my friend is vegetarian and they change the menu accordingly) the food was delicious,the room was clean,spacious and the futon super comfy. With an additional charge (but totally worth it) it's possible to use the near hotel's baths,that have open air baths at different floor (the 8th and 11th are amazing!) I would totally come back if I can. Thanks so much for an amazing experience!
