Very authentic Japanese so not in anyway targeted at foreign tourists. This had it's charms but made the initial communication difficult, though the Nepalese staff who turned up later could speak English. The dinner and breakfast are pure Japanese and are excellent! The Japanese style tatami room with view of mount Fuji was also good.

The property is absolutely spectacular, much better than the photos. Rooms are newly remodeled and extremely comfortable. We had a view of Mount Fuji which was so special. You must eat in the restaurant, food was authentic Japanese.

Less than 10 minute steady walk from the station. Very comfortable, wonderful breakfast but the stand out feature of this hotel is the Hot Spring Spa which was sensational

Location: close to the station, the castle and many nice restaurants and bars! Onsen on the last floor with free ice cream. Delicious free peach jelly. Very nice staff.

big rooms !! really big !! twice as big as normal Japan hotel room !! we like it!! Onsen got ample bathing space !! good indoor outdoor pool !! ample parking space and free . many restaurants options if you are driving . yakiniku at Sadoya is 5 stars !! gelato and sweets at Elmo near Castle is 5 stars !!
