The host sent us precise instructions by email so that we could easily find our way there from the airport, find the key and enter the apartment. She was also immediately available later if we needed help. You can cook in the kitchen if you want, we even found coffee and sugar for emergencies. There is wifi, which is very important. The apartment is really close to the Acropolis, but there is also a wonderful little cafe and restaurant very close by. We saw many sights on foot, they are reachable with a short walk, and there are also wonderful sights along the way. I would gladly recommend it to anyone who wants to get to know Athens.

We had booked Athens Central Apartment. Instead, they placed us in the Golden City Hotel. So I will make my evaluation for Golden City Hotel. The amenities were very good for the price. There was an excellent free buffet breakfast. The room was clean and large. Reception was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend you not to miss this opportunity for this price performance. As in all parts of the world, there are homeless people and immigrants in Athens. You may encounter homeless people in the area where the hotel is located, but Athens is a very safe city. As a view of life, we are not disturbed by the homeless and immigrants. So far, we have not suffered any harm from the homeless and immigrants. We prefer Exarcheia, Psiri, Omonia and Koukai regions instead of touristic Athens. The hotel is in Omonia and very close to Exarcheia and Psiri. I hope we will take advantage of this price performance opportunity when we go to Athens again. I would definitely recommend taking advantage of this great price performance opportunity.

There was a taxi strike so were stranded at the airport. Our host came and rescued us from the airport, she was so so friendly and accommodating.

The pool area is absolutely stunning. As perfect as it looks on the pictures, if not better! Tony is the best host you can imagine. He helped us with so many things and was always extremely helpful and attentive! We traveled with our 13 months old son and he provided a baby bed and a high chair for us. Such a joyful and heartwarming fellow. We will definitely return here in the future.
