We had a great stay, the room was very comfortable, with a modern look. There was free parking available, with enough spaces for everyone. We were lucky enough for clear skies, so you could see the clear night sky right from the room balcony, although going further from the lights was a lot better. The view was awesome and it was very quiet, we loved it! The food at the hotel restaurant was very good, although we paid more attention to the menu we received at checkin than the actual serving times for the food and didn't get there in time for actual food and had to go with the finger food option (which were big portions anyway and good).

Situated in the centre of the village, Lake Tekapo Village Motel offers rooms with lake views. Free WiFi and free private parking is available. Twizel is a 40-minute drive from the property. Location is right in the middle of the town and only meters from restaurants. Parking is right at your door. We had room 12 which was warm and the bathroom was very large and would be suitable for anyone who need accessible facilities. There was a view from the front landing of the mountains and the lake but it was through buildings. The bed was comfortable, and the room was large. Breakfast at Doughboy Cafe was included and was a full hot breakfast which was great. The staff at the accommodation were friendly and helpful.
