The staff were amazing, and very helpful and friendly. Our accomodation was spotlessly clean. We had cooking facilities, hairdryer, shampoo, body wash, and luxury white towels. It really was a home away from home. I would absolutely recommend Acacia Lake View Motel.

Lake Taupo and Tokaanu Thermal Pools are within 5 minutes’ drive from Creel Lodge. The Tongariro National Park’s ski fields and walking trails are 40 minutes’ drive away. Spent a further pleasant stay at the lodge. Went half day trout fishing with Jason Bethune of Creel and Tackle shop next door. From lodge Drove 3mins to Chinese take away food for dinner.

Facilities include a thermal-heated swimming pool, poolside bar, shared barbecue facilities and laundry. Very spacious, comfortable, clean, well-equipped room with a great view. Barry was very welcoming and helpful. Ample convenient parking. The shower was powerful with an abundance of hot water. Nice that teabags and milk were provided too.

Guests can relax on the deck around the outdoor heated swimming pool. The location was incredibly convenient, the view was beautiful, and the staff were professional, willing to help, and very friendly. The rooms were a good size with all necessary amenities, and the pool provided a welcome cool down after a hot day.
