The motel manager accommodated well for our late arrival and organized breakfasts for us for our early departure the following morning. The communication was quick and helpful. The motel rooms are spotless, clean, and well taken care of. Our stay was a pleasant surprise.

Every room has a flat-screen TV with with satellite channels. We loved our room here. We did have the two bedroom apartment and it was so spacious and comfortable. It’s such a sweet touch that they offer you milk for your morning coffee in a little jug. The location is fantastic. You can walk into town in a couple minutes. The town is awesome. Several wonderful coffee shops with delicious food and lots of hippie vibes stores.

Separate kitchen area from the main room. Great location - short walk into town. Laundry facilities were great.

The Station House Motel is located in the charming village of Collingwood, Golden Bay NZ. It was built in 1907 and was originally the Police Station. It offers two Studio Rooms with En Suite within the Historical House and two Self Contained Cottages. Charming family-run business, ideal for families with children, as there is a trampoline, basketball hoop, and climbing area. The family cottage has excellent cooking facilities and there is a gas barbecue available in the beautiful garden. The studio inside the main house was spacious and comfy.
