I've traveled all over and was one of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in The lakehouse room gives you a little extra privacy and a really nice view from the bed over the inlet Has everything you need including cooking gear Bed was great and it has heat/ac for maximum comfort

The Station House Motel is located in the charming village of Collingwood, Golden Bay NZ. It was built in 1907 and was originally the Police Station. It offers two Studio Rooms with En Suite within the Historical House and two Self Contained Cottages. This great little cottage had everything we needed. There was also 2 beautiful outdoor spaces with lovely gardens. Very quick walk to town and beach with grassy dunes. One of the cleanest and best stocked accommodations we’ve stayed in in New Zealand.
