Located in the leafy suburb of Birkenhead on Auckland's North Shore district, FERNZ Motel & Apartments Birkenhead offers accommodation within a 15-minute drive from Auckland CBD. A variety of cafes and restaurants serving local and international cuisine and shopping are situated in the town centre, just 2 minutes' walk from the property. The apartment layout was very nice, and had everything we needed to make us feel at home, including a washer/dryer in the bathroom. The neighborhood had a lot of shops and restaurants, and it was only 10-15 min drive from downtown Auckland. The large bay windows to the balcony were a nice addition, and let a lot of light into the apartment.

Free Wi-Fi and free car park (limited spaces, based on first in, no reserves) are on offer at Alexander Inn. Each room has a kitchenette or full kitchen with microwave, refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. Very pleasant staff, helped us with allowing late parking and overall a great experience. All rooms come with cooking facilities, their own bathrooms, lounge, dining tables and chairs (which can be utilised as a workstation, meeting table etc if required) unlimited WIFI, Sky TV and a guest laundry on-site. I absolutely loved my stay! My room was incredibly spacious, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The highlight for me was the large, relaxing tub—perfect for unwinding with a glass of wine. The shower was fantastic, with amazing water pressure that made washing my hair a breeze. The small kitchen was a great bonus, equipped with plenty of extras to make my stay even more convenient. The location was lovely—just a short walk to plenty of shops and restaurants, plus you can catch a cool ocean breeze directly across the street. Check in was beyond easy and everyone was extremely kind. Would definitely stay here again.

Just 50 metres walk from the weekly village markets, guests enjoy a swimming pool, BBQ facilities and a children’s playground at Matakana Motel. All accommodation offers a satellite flat-screen TV, a microwave and a fridge. Private back deck, parking in front of door, room very comfortable having a good layout. Had king room.
