Palace Hotel will definitely go down as one of the most pleasant and surprising places I’ve ever stayed at. From arriving on a red carpet to having the entire spa practically to myself; complete with three different saunas, a jacuzzi, and a large pool with a water jet - this hotel exceeded my expectations tenfold. The breakfast was okay-ish, although we weren’t aware there were several menu options available (we were simply asked “two breakfasts?” and agreed). As you can see from my photo, the breakfast was rather small and would have been expected to be way more interesting, however due to all the exceedingly positive notes of this hotel I will not write it as a negative side nor will I deduce any points because of it. Still, the coffee was excellent and more than made up for it. Parking was convenient, with an easy view of the car right from our room. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, especially the young gentleman on the night shift who checked us in and kindly made sure everything was good during our spa time. A fantastic stay overall... peaceful, elegant, and full of pleasant surprises.
