The location is perfect, just a short walk from Nungwi Beach, yet peaceful and relaxing. After 20 days, I can say this hotel really felt like home. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Zanzibar!

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine kindness. A special shoutout to Eggla, Ramadan, Josef, Richard and Maureen—along with the rest of the amazing staff—who truly made our days unforgettable with their friendliness and care. Our room was perfect: spacious, clean and the bed—massive and incredibly comfortable. We slept like babies every night. The location is a dream. Right on the beach, in a peaceful and calm setting. The garden is breathtaking, full of colorful flowers and birds singing in the trees—it truly felt like a little paradise. The hotel restaurant was another highlight. Every dish we tried was delicious, but we especially loved the daily “catch of the day” featuring different fresh fish, and the grilled octopus was just mouthwatering. Zanzibella has stolen our hearts, and we already hope to return soon!

Seeing them celebrating and having their staff party was a great example of practice what you preach. There are so many people we want to thank, because everyone has been so nice to us, and thanks to them we had a wonderful time, and therefore a very hard time leaving our Zanzibari home. Besides mr. Ahmed, we want to thank Amina, Mariam, Judith, Ghati, McDonald, Munira and many more of the beautiful new family memebers. And last but not least, one of the greatest souls and most beautiful person we met, our dearest Maria. The auntie of all the kids in the hotel. My daughters loves her so much. She really knows how to connect deeply with kids and they adore her. Thank you for giving them and me the best time. We'll definitely come back in shaa allah.

Loved the energy of the place, it is a tuktuk ride away from Paje which is the part of the island I prefer. The staff was super attentive and helpful. The room itself had the perfect video of the water. I totally recommend this spot, and when I asked for a late check out they agreed right away. There is a restaurant inside the hotel that has fresh food and a great breakfast!

The food was great, everything fresh and a large choice. Now for the service, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We celebrated our wedding aniversary and they were very intentional in preparing our moment. The staff were incredibly friendly and came by twice a day: once to clean and once in the evening to prepare the room for sleep, complete with an anti-mosquito spray — such a thoughtful touch! The restaurant was lovely with great food, and the location is perfect for a quiet, relaxing, and romantic getaway.
