The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Skiathos town and 10 minutes from the harbour, with restaurants, bars and shops. Additionally, a bus stop and a convenience store are only 2 minutes away. The pool was clean and perfect for cooling down in the sun. Since the hotel is small in size with not too many rooms, we always found some available sunbeds where we could relax and enjoy drinks, food, or snacks from their bar and cafe area. Staying at Althaea was a wonderful experience with nothing to complain about. However, what truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible family that owns it. From the moment we arrived, they were really friendly, checking in with us to see if everything was fine during our stay and going out of their way to make sure we were happy. The greatest example of this was when we were leaving Skiathos. We were about to check in at the airport when we realized that we had left some clothes in our room. After calling the hotel and explaining the situation, Alkis, the hotel co-owner, showed up at the airport with our clothes only 20 minutes later. Such exceptional service is rare and deeply appreciated. I highly recommend this place for couples, families, and small groups of friends. It’s quiet, with a great location close to the city and probably the best staff in all of Skiathos. Thank you for having us. We hope to come back again!

Combining pastels with bright hues as well as floral and striped decorative details, all accommodation types at the Mandraki Village offer a satellite TV and air conditioning. Each has a fridge and hairdryer. We stayed for two weeks in Mandraki village and everything was really exceptional. The hotel is very well located near the Koukounaries beach, it took us less than 10 minutes to walk there and it is not demanding at all. The restaurant in the hotel is really good, they have great variety and quality with normal prices. The breakfast was great as well, with a lot of traditional Greek foods and also classic breakfast dishes. The room was overlooking the garden and it was spacious and luxurious. Cleanliness overall is exceptional. Lastly, the staff was very welcoming and kind, we felt very welcome and will definitely try to visit again. :)
