The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Dating back to the 14th-century, this property offers an award-winning restaurant, locally brewed ales and free parking. Our 10/10 stay at this place started the night we arrived. After a somewhat harrowing drive in the dark/rain/fog down a tiny road we were exhausted. The lovely man (Dan who it turns out was just filling in but did a bang up job) at the check in just took us straight to our (out of this world) room and said "Check in in the morning, no problem" and handed us a pot of cream (... this is for your coffee/tea). The room itself was huge and gorgeous with a full sitting room area, mini kitchen and a giant king sized bed that was so comfortable I would still be there if I could. The bathroom had a great shower and a giant bath tub. We stumbled across to the pub and (although it was past kitchen closing) the chef made us a lovely salmon dinner. Things just got better from there - gorgeous full breakfasts, lovely dinners, kind and caring staff EVERYWHERE. The town is tiny but stunning with plenty of interesting historical buildings and great hikes both around the area and over to the next town (charmingly called Beer). Thank you to Dan, Sophie, Connor and Hannah for making our stay so incredibly special.

Everything was super. Very nice property with loads of activities and exceptional landscape. We could have spent more time there. The hot tub was super.

Absolutely stunning accommodation in a stunning location. Hosts were fabulous and attentive. The extra details were very much appreciated. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t recommend enough

Built in 1930, this 5-star bed and breakfast is within 2.5 km of Compass Cove Beach and 1.6 km of Dartmouth Castle. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. The location is perfect, but the design of this property is very current and clean with a coastal flair without being over the top. Even though the room was small it was smartly designed. Nothing was lacking and the finishes and craftsmanship was top notch.

The room was huge and very comfortable and nicely decorated. The water was hot and bed comfy. Breakfast very good. Great location. Lady was very pleasant . Would be good to have a sign that says park here for Instow Barton :)

The 4-star guest house features garden views and is 1.2 km from Blacklands Beach. The guest house has family rooms. Hosts Drew and Penny were so kind, funny and helpful. Location was perfect nearby some good restaurants. The environment is beautiful and famous for its hiking possibilities. Breakfast was a delight!! I would go back in a heartbeat.
