Paperbark Camp offers a peaceful retreat in beautiful Jervis Bay, with unique luxury tent accommodation and an on-site restaurant and bar. Guests enjoy free use of canoes and bicycles. The staff, the facilities, and the serenity of the place were all truly special. Memorable and unique, we felt cared for and wished we could stay longer. Kangaroos, great coffee, and the forest at hand with the beaches a short bike ride away. Inclusive of bikes and canoes and breakfast make it a solid value if a bit of a splurge!

Located on 40 acres of beautiful country farm land in Tomerong forest, The Woods Farm features beautiful eucalyptus trees throughout and lots of land to explore and wander. A magical farm stay experience (with a slightly bumpy start) We arrived at The Woods Farm around 6:30 pm, and to be honest, it was a little unsettling at first — the entire property was pitch dark, and we couldn’t find a single staff member around. After calling via WhatsApp, we found out that we needed to locate our cottage ourselves, which was quite tricky in the dark and a bit worrying. But as it turns out, this is just how things work here. Our mood shifted completely once we found our cottage — and wow, it was stunning. Beautifully built with high-quality materials, spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything we needed: 3 comfy bedrooms, a lovely living room, and a full kitchen. The next morning, we understood why this place gets so much praise. We were greeted by wild kangaroos hopping across the massive backyard, and the kids were absolutely thrilled. Then came the real highlight — feeding time at the farm! We got to meet and feed alpacas, goats, sheep, cows, pigs, ponies, and even wild parrots who pecked sunflower seeds straight from our hands. Our 3- and 8-year-olds were in absolute heaven — it was truly something special. There’s also a huge playground right next to the pool, which was perfect for the kids to burn off more energy. Overall, this was a 10/10 experience. Our kids are still talking about it long after we’ve moved on to our next destination. If we weren’t already committed to a tight travel plan, we definitely would have stayed longer. Highly recommend for families looking for a unique and unforgettable farm stay!
