The Timber House is a gem in the Thamel district! It is nicely located close to many places of interest, shops, and cafés. It has its own unique style and great jacuzzi bathtubs in the rooms. It also has a small but cozy balcony and a gorgeous rooftop restaurant. The staff was very helpful and polite, especially Ram Prasad, the front desk supervisor, who always provided us with useful information, which was especially important during the days of protests. They took all the necessary precautions to keep the hotel safe during the unrest.

We had five unforgettable days in this beautiful hotel. We didn't miss anything, we were impressed by the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. We would particularly like to highlight the extensive breakfast buffet. Another highlight was the Patio Bar, where we enjoyed the food and the good local beer. We would especially like to thank Sajja, she spoiled us with her perfect service and we learned a lot about Nepal through her.
