It was such a beautiful property, big spacious room with a luxurious shower and a great balcony. All looks new and is very well cleaned. The staff was so kind and helpful with recommendations and arranging bookings/taxis. Carolina is the best!!

This place is one of the nicest on whole Holbox!!! It is the nicest part of the beach and could not be better!! We will come definitely again!! Gabriela was really excellent!! Not to forget the wonderful pool!!! In a few minutes walking you are ‘center’! It is a wonderful place!!!

Absolutely perfect stay. The hotel is beautiful - clearly the best on the island by some distance. The room is unique and incredibly designed. The staff are attentive and lovely and the food and drink was delicious. The location on the beach was amazing. This hotel is faultless. Special shout out to Martin who selflessly helped us out when we were experiencing an issue (not related to the hotel). He is a very impressive individual and I can't thank him enough. This is one of the best run / well managed hotels I have ever stayed at. Truly awesome.

La Casa del Alux is such a sanctuary and looks even better than in photos! I loved everything about it and only wish I could have stayed longer! + beautiful location by the lagoon, very quiet, but convenient- a 10min walk to the centre of town and only a couple min walk to the beach. + beautiful and clean facilities with a lot of charm, but also modern and comfortable. + a large air-conditioned room with great hot shower and supply of filtered water, and a beautiful balcony with a view.

    Very relaxed vibe, breakfast was good and loved the location. We had been pre warned that it was 5 Star Holbox style and the staff balance luxury with a laid back approach well. Room was beautiful and comfortable and the staff were very accommodating of our needs. Gym / yoga was great. Town is a simple 10 minute walk and if you time it right you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and starry nights. The walk was a welcome party of our nightly outings..
