The lodge offers a hot tub. Beautiful place to chill out and relax. Very clean and extremely helpful staff. Cannot wait to go back. I would highly recommend pre ordering the BRAI boxes from them. Breakfast was amazing and so I thought they were great value for money and saved us loads of time.

The game drives, the food, the staff, the elephants by the pool, the room… everything was incredible! I can’t wait to come back.

All meals are included at Tau Game Lodge, as well as 2 safaris per night booked. The staff were excellent, they made you feel straight at home and were extremely accommodating. We were never hungry, the food was fantastic and served in a creative way, one evening we had a brai in the bush; an amazing experience! The location next to a watering hole, meant that we had elephants directly outside our room and could watch a variety of animals drink and wash over lunch, you could watch and stare for hours. Lazarus our ranger was excellent, knowledgeable and patient with our many questions. He made us feel at ease around all animals. We also had a great massage, recommend the spa facilities for anybody interested.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The dining and kitchen staff, Chris, Veronica, and David were very attentive to our dietary needs/restrictions and all of the food was wonderful. Rassie, our safari guide, knows the park and animals very well and worked with other guides to get us some wonderful and up-close views of several animals. We also learned quite a bit about the animals and their behaviors from him. The lodge is beautiful, and our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the surrounding hills.

It’s an amazing lodge! It had everything one could wish for! It’s hard to explain how wonderful it really was! Emma our tour guide was brilliant! She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable! You will not regret staying at this lodge!
