They made us feel right at home. The room was great - we loved the outdoor shower! And the boma for dinner - just magical. They had everything set up beautifully for our 2-yr-old twins - down to the blankets in their cribs. The twins loved the blankets so much they wanted to take them home with us!

Val and Neil are just the best—so friendly, super helpful, and really fun to chat with. We honestly don’t know what we would’ve done without all their tips and help organising tours. And the food? Oh my gosh, it was incredible! The breakfast was massive—I couldn’t believe they packed such a big one for our self-drive safari day. It was such a thoughtful touch and kept us going all day. Dinner was hands down the best meal I had in South Africa—so delicious and exactly what we needed after a long day out. The pool was a lifesaver on those hot days, and having animals wandering around made it all even more special. Huge thanks to Val and Neil for making our stay so wonderful! We’ll never forget it.

Foxy Crocodile Bush Lodge & Kruger Safari's – (No Loadshedding) is an off-grid, Luxury Eco-Bush Lodge situated in Marloth Park right on the Crocodile River overlooking the world-renowned Kruger... Probably the best decision we made on our trip was to stay with the folks at Foxy Crocodile. Located near the Crocodile Bridge entrance of the Kruger National Park, it is inside the private Marloth Park. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The best part of the stay was definitely the friendliness of the staff. This place is well-equipped for load shedding as it runs on solar, and we were never bothered by the scheduled power outages. If you stay, do book the half board, where we had some delicious meals, including the best T-bone steak we've ever eaten. They organize safaris, which were really comfortable, and we were lucky as we had the whole vehicle to ourselves. Book it, and you won't regret it. We will return here when we come back to Kruger national park.

Located in Marloth Park, overlooking the Crocodile River and Kruger National Park, Kruger Riverside Lodge - No Load-shedding is a lodge featuring a garden. The location is superb, the staff even more! The food was amazing, the dinner and the breakfast which was included. The view is perfect, seeing only the nature and you can just walk 30 seconds to the crocodile river where a bench is located. The lodge also organizes game drives themselves which we had (full day game drive with a group of only four people). Further there are many animals coming by, when having dinner outside with all of the lodge guests on one table. So we had the opportunity to connect with the other guests which was a nice experience.
