We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights from January 25th to January 28th. We were welcomed very warmly. Host helped us organize a morning safari and packed a delicious and hearty breakfast to take with us. When we encountered issues with organizing an evening safari that we were handling independently, the owner promptly resolved our problem. Each evening featured an amazing dinner, and we were thrilled. The rooms are very spacious, beds are comfortable, and the shower has good pressure with warm water. The room had a view of the river, where wild animals frequently visited. The owner offered us binoculars, making the wildlife observation by the river even more interesting.

The lodge, the service, the location, dinner and breakfast, and the kindness of the hosts were ALL AMAZING!

Located in Marloth Park, overlooking the Crocodile River and Kruger National Park, Kruger Riverside Lodge - No Load-shedding is a lodge featuring a garden. This property features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The location is superb, the staff even more! The food was amazing, the dinner and the breakfast which was included. The view is perfect, seeing only the nature and you can just walk 30 seconds to the crocodile river where a bench is located. The lodge also organizes game drives themselves which we had (full day game drive with a group of only four people). Further there are many animals coming by, when having dinner outside with all of the lodge guests on one table. So we had the opportunity to connect with the other guests which was a nice experience.

The luxury tent was stylish and cozy. The exotic and eclectic decor throughout, from the tent to the common areas, created a unique and captivating atmosphere. Breakfast was wonderful, and dinner was an amazing experience, beautifully prepared and presented. Wildlife often wandered close by, offering magical encounters. The hosts were warm, attentive, and made the entire stay truly special. This lodge is a perfect blend of wilderness, luxury, and charm—we can’t wait to return!

Kambaku River Lodge is set within 20 km of Malelane. The Kruger Nation Park Malelane Gate is 23 km from the property and Leopard Creek Country Club is 22 km away. 20 minutes from Melanane gate, ideal for self drive but they also offer guided safaris The rooms are just from another world, extremely clean and spacious, offering privacy in quite an open establishment. The rooms are well designed with a South African taste, private terrace and if you book the right room, a cold plunge The garden and view over the Crocodile river are just something else. You see tracking elephants and hippos, and hear male Lions just roaring during sundown Hospitality was top notch; Dennis, Leanne and the other lady (sorry, forgot your name) do everything to make your stay comfy. Great dinner, freshly made and served by cooks. The dinner announcement drums are a very nice touch. Breakfast packs available if you are going on a morning safari. Would 100% recommend.

Quiet location overlooking the Crodille River with all sorts of exotic animals in the gardens. Good breakfast with various choices. Evening 3-sours set meny availble. Very nice full day safari in Kruger is arranged by the guesthouse.
